About

Dee Stoppa is a documentary filmmaker based in Ireland, with a background in visual arts and photography. Her work explores identity and the connection between creativity and well-being.

She is the director and producer of the InnLyte Studio Series (2025-2026), a ten-part documentary project capturing the resilience of professional artists in Ireland. The series offers an unfiltered look at how creativity serves as a practical tool for navigating life’s challenges—including motherhood, menopause, neurodivergence, grief, and shifting identities.

InnLyte & Creative Wellbeing

In 2025, Dee established InnLyte.com, a multi-disciplinary hub dedicated to Creative Wellbeing.

The business operates across three pillars:

1. Production: Creating educational and inspiring short films, focusing on the recently completed Studio Series (Season 1) and upcoming standalone short documentaries.

2. Education (In Development): Dee is currently developing a Digital Guide to Creative Wellbeing. This will feature signature online workshops (including her Symbollage® method) and practical tools, such as the forthcoming InnLyte Deck—a set of cards and guidebook designed to spark creative reflection.

3. Advocacy: Dee is available for public speaking engagements and guest lectures. She provides expert introductions to Creative Wellbeing, specifically tailored for corporate wellness settings and community organisations.

As part of InnLyte’s strategic development, Dee was recently selected for two of Ireland’s leading enterprise accelerators. She completed Phase 1 of Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers programme and is a current participant in ACORNS 11 (2025–2026), focusing on sustainable company growth and commercial strategy.

Dee’s journey as a founder is documented in her monthly solo podcast, InnLyte: Unscripted with Dee Stoppa, which offers behind-the-scenes and personal reflections.

Early Life & Professional Journey

Born in Poland (1989) into a multigenerational tradition of craft and visual arts, Dee began her practice with six years of formal training in sculpture, painting, and film photography. She subsequently spent four years studying National Security before moving to Ireland at the age of 23.

After working in a corporate role in Dublin, motherhood and a shift in identity led her back to her creative roots in 2015. This personal transition sparked her deep interest in the link between creativity and mental health.

From 2015 to 2025, Dee worked as a professional visual artist, photographer, and workshop facilitator. She ran a successful studio shop in the Castlecomer Craft Yard and collaborated with numerous organisations like Mental Health Ireland.

The birth of her third child and a unique set of challenges in 2022 influenced her decision to return to education and restructure her business.

She recently completed two postgraduate courses in Arts and Health (NCAD, pilot group) and Workplace Wellness (Trinity Business School, distinction).

Her current studio/office is open by appointment only.
